What this site is:

This site serves as an almost chronological record of my life, but moreover it is just a place for me to exhibit my favourite photographs. There is no particular theme and no specific genre, just a collection of the things I see. I find my daily photoblog a little limiting at times as I often take a lot of photos when we visit places or attend events. On this site I hope I can string these together into more coherent offerings and maybe attempt some photo essays.

What this site isn’t:

This site is not an excuse to post rubbish. I still have standards, so please don’t expect colour popping or cartoon-like HDRs. You know who you are people. Stop the pain!

Me:

I’m self taught and just enjoy stumbling upon what works and what doesn’t. I bought my first camera in 2004 at the the not-so-tender age of twenty eight. I finally felt that I had found something I could enjoy and potentially get good at. It is a constant learning experience, but I like it more than anything else I have tried. I shoot (primarily) with a Nikon D200 dSLR.
